Load users into LDAP thru external DB
Hi all,
I'm new in the forum, and I would appreciate very much your expertise in LDAP issues.
Currently I have this issue:
I need to fill an LDAP with user information. Standard users are loaded into the LDAP by marking them in a HR Management Tool, however, we have certain users that aren't registred in this tool, like third party colaborators.
We've come up with a possible solution, however we're not quite sure of it is possible to do it:
We want to make available a external database (ex. Excel datasheet) with the information of these external workers (uid, name, last name, et..) and a process that reads this data and loads these users in to the LDAP.
Is it possible? What approach do you suggest?
Thank you very much for your insight!
