    Unhappy SSL client 'de-initialization'

    Hi All,

    I am using Netscape LDAP SDK to connect to a LDAP server over SSL. After initialising the client with certificate database and doing other stuff I want to free the library/client. So that I can use different connection parameters next time. Is there any way to free the ssl-client or free the
    library? My code sequence goes like:

    (1) ldapssl_client_init()
    (2) ldapssl_init()
    (3) ldap_set_option()
    (4) ldap_simple_bind_s()
    (5) ldap_search_s()
    (6) ldap_unbind_s()

    Now I am looking for something like "ldapssl_client_deinit()".

    Any pointers would be helpful.

    Thanks.

    not sure what you're looking for...

    Something like that:

    #include <openssl/ssl.h>
    int SSL_shutdown(SSL *ssl);

    SSL_shutdown() shuts down an active TLS/SSL connection. It sends the ``close notify'' shutdown alert to the peer. ?
