the problem is that i want to keep my distro as "original" as possible so nothing breaks on updating other packages.

so i need the rpmīs from my distributor and most times itīs like you need 10 rpms to get eg. apache & php work on my SuSE. they put libraries (dlls as you would call them) into separate files

I see.

I call it DLL, because they have the .dll (dynamic link library) extension in Win32.I know, its a bad habbit
