Boot image question

I made a bood disk from Rip-10

I want to know how to modify Rescue.gz "ramdisk" that is on my boot disk I would like to customize it for a single purpose

I gunzip it and it is now Rescue without an extention how do I open it?

mkdir /mnt/floppyimage
mount -o loop -t minix ./Rescue /mnt/flopyimage

assuming it is a minix filesystem and you have the unpacked image in your cwd.
