Can a user on Mac OS X run X applications of a Linux box?
Lets say my friend has Mac OS X on her laptop (she does). Is it possible to ssh into my linux machine, and run gui applications through my X server on her computer. (The same as you would if you were on a linux box, and connecting to another linux box)
Also are there any clients to allow you to run X on windows? I assume cygwin is needed for that. |

- TightVNC or (maybe) TridiaVNC
There is a commercial x server for win32, don't remember the name, but you can check WeirdMind http://www.tam.cornell.edu/Computer...cess/weirdmind/ or WeirdX (has a Mac installer), which are java based and very interesting!

Are you looking for an X-Windows client for the Mac running OS X?
If you are, there are a number of them available. Go to www.apple.com and search the "Built for OS X" software listing. -t |
