Convert .swf to .mov or .avi

I'm hoping that someone has some suggestions for me. I'm trying to find a way to convert a .swf (NOT a .fla) file to another video format, such as .mov or .avi within Linux.

We have already tried ffmpeg, and gotten nowhere with that. Does anyone know of anything else worth looking at?

We're getting desperate and are sick of beating our heads against the wall. Any help would be appreciated.

I am now using Aunsoft swf converter to convert swf files to avi, wmv, mpeg, mpg, mp3, flv, etc. When converting , the exported audio and video will be totally in synchronization, you can get converted video without any sound quality degradation, frames skipping.
