Hi,
I want to know the CPU Id on my linux box. In /proc/cpuinfo the information is not available. and in the dmesg some times it will be there and some times not.. Where to get exactly the CPU ID in linux. Please help me .. Thanks in advance. regards klink. |

It has to be enabled through the cpu features (general setup?) in the kernel config menu.
