Creating CD install for Suse 7.3
After a full day of downloading the 2+GB release of SuSE 7.3 my question is, how should I partition the directories up to create an installation solely from CD?

put it on DVD ;-)
there is a directory "desc" or something alike where description files for the packages are located in. they should tell you the cd number. then make a bash script. if the files donīt tell the cd number, its your choice... but choose wisely, a minimum install should not require all 6 cds.. [edit] they have to contain the cd number since yast knows about. [/edit] |
