Question "Excange Server" for linux?

I need something like Exchange Server for Linux.

1. Do I look at 3rd party software?
2. Where do I look?

Take a look around... there are better (and simpler to configure) solutions than sendmail...

yep!!!!
completely agree with deepspring...
qmail is way better than Sendmail... much cleaner config...
a must try before using sendmail....

What about a IPlanet mail server. Yes, is not free, but if You need functionality near to Exchange server?
