    External content not loading (firewall?)


    Running CentOS 6.4, not knowledgeable about setting up the firewall. Currently have..

    I'm having trouble serving up images from other websites and communicating with recaptcha to validate user input.

    I recently added this to no avail:

    Code:
    iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -o eth0 -p tcp --sport 80 -m state --state ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
    Not sure how to remove it now?
    Are there any vulnerabilities in my set up?

    This may not be an iptables issue as I did:

    sudo service iptables stop

    iptables: Flushing firewall rules: [ OK ]
    iptables: Setting chains to policy ACCEPT: filter [ OK ]
    iptables: Unloading modules: [ OK ]


    And I still have the problem.

    So I managed to fix the external image problem, it was a badly installed Perl module causing the issue. Now they work fine. I have started a thread on the Perl forum about the reCaptcha issue, as the issue with that is likely also a Perl one!
