Freeswan VPN
Hey folks. Not sure if this is the right board for this question, so smack me if needed 
I am currently working on a VPN on SuSE Linux with Freeswan v1.99, Kernel 2.4.20.
Freeswan is basically running, I am starting it via "ipsec setup start" and beside it mentioning that I got packet filtering enabled and that this might cause problems everything is okay so far.
Now if I enter the new ipsec0 interface (which matches eth1, pointing to the internet) into my firewall as second EXT_DEVICE the firewall says "ipsec0 interface not active" on startup but "ifconfig" shows "ipsec0" just fine.
Firewall is an older one, running ipchains ("SuSEfirewall") because I just upgraded the kernel.
Anyone got an idea what the problem is ?
