I'm have a novice Linux question configuring rc.local.
I have completed a firewall assistance script online and the file is delivered as a script file for placement in the rc.local file. But the syntax is left to be known. Here is how the script notes describe installation: # /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall # Invoked from /etc/rc.d/rc.local. Well, that leaves a lot to be guessed at. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

Figured it out...
Once I figured it was basically a shell script I just called it from the rc.local file as shown above.
Works great. But it still blocks FTP connections! Tim |
