how to mount qft0?
I'm unfamiliar with fstab and do no know how to get my Dell 100T DDS4 DAT drive working right in RH 7.1.
I have tried "mount -f /dev/qft0 /mnt/tape setblk0" and that executes, but I can't tar to /dev/qft0 or /mnt/tape. I haven't mucked around with tape drives for a few years in *nix and do NOT remember how to do this right. Please help! :-) # Nathan |

I'm not sure exactly HOW to do it, but I'm pretty sure you can't write directly to the device. I know it doesn't help you directly, but maybe that can help you rule things out.
