how to reconfigure a rpm installed application like in tarball
i do not know whether i can reconfigure a rpm installation as in tarball install or not. i also found SRPMS which insall only source code, i wonder whether i can us SRPMS for thus reconfigure and complied.

Do you mean you want to recompile the application that you installed as an rpm and pass it different configuration parameters?
No, you can't do that with rpms, but you probably can with srpms. |
