Installing PHP4 on Linux 7.1 Question..?

I received this email asking for help on installing PHP4 on Linux 7.1 I beleive they mean RedHat 7.1. Is there some good links for basic install or updates for this.

Although you probably have already solved the problem someway ...

1) That's the correct forum.
2) I'd send back a (more or less polite but firm) flame asking for the exact PHP version, the web server, the distro name and the exact problems.

Installing PHP4 on Redhat 7.1

I just finished installing exactly that.
I did it using the following article sequence:
http://www.e-gineer.com/instruction...-on-linux.phtml

This is to install Apache.
On the bottom of the article are links to the PHP and MySQL installation.
Worked fine for me. For PHP4 however, read the comments on the bottom of the PHP4-installation, because mine didn't compile immediately, but after reading the solution in the comments, it worked just fine.
