or to bring up the system to boot up and work as normal linux box???????

is the mountpoint = one of the original directory name???????
or / or /root ???????

and then saved
/mnt/root/sbin/lilo said no such file or directory.

I really got no idea now!!!!

easy solution: restore from your backup!
you didn´t make one? too bad. don´t say no one told you to!!!

A person is dieing and then re-store the organs will save person.
Then the person is saved.

it is ok now, I saved the linux box and update to 7.2 and it is up and running. quite stable though.
