Joystick drivers for Linux supporting force feedback
For a research at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, I'm looking for any Linux joystick driver that supports force feedback, no matter which joystick type.
Probably such drivers don't exist at the moment, so here is another question:
Does anyone know how a midiport communicates with a joystick to control force feedback? I know almost for sure that MS Sidewinder joysticks sends midi messages on midi transmit channel 6. Maybe someone has already researched this and knows some specific transmit codes to control force feedback.
I appreciate it if anyone would like to help me.
