Question lilo strange access key

i´ve instaled in my pc WinXpPro+SuseLinuxPro7.1 ,
i´ve the standard boot directely to xp ,
i boot the pc and when the "power on self test"
screen turns black i press the del key and the
grafic lilo screen apears , i like this config .
my problem is that i dont know how i´ve configured
lilo to act like this , and now i´ll upgrade linux
to SuseLinuxPro8.1 and i would like to know how to .
the configs i´ve learned are mbr/hdisk/fdisk ;
i´ve inslaled lilo in the past in the mbr and on
a floppy disk , have i configured lilo this timw
to work under the hard disk ??
