Linneighborhood and Samba

Ive installed Samba and im using Linneighborhood to browse the windows2000 network. When I browse the entire network all the computers on the network apper but I can browse them. Its as though they havent got shared folders, but I know they have. Is there something wrong with the linneighborhood setup or is it something to do with the windows machines

lin$who ???

I, always mount the smb share directly to the file system. Both mount and smbmount will work (with the correct options). Try man smbmount.
hope it helps.

Yes, see if you can browsee the network manually using samba's tools (smbmount, smbumount - check the manpages for details by typing "man smbmount" and "man smbumount" in a console). If you can, then you'll need to check your LinNeighbourhood configuration, making especially sure it's got the right samba information.
