Linux no longer resolving host names via PPP
Running Redhat 6.2 using kppp for dialup.
I have had PPP working for over 6 months and have not had any problems. All of a sudden things just quit working. I cannot connect to Google using www.google.com but I can if I type in 216.239.33.101. Any suggestions are appreciated. E. |

your ISP changed configuration.
either automatic supplying of dns servers is not supported anymore or you have static dns servers in your /etc/resolv.conf that are not available anymore. just a guess... |
