Can 2k set "System Recovery Points" (translation by me, could have a different name)?
I like this feature although it does not work 100% like i expect it to (kills Word DOCs, XLS files etc, but leaves parts of installed programs in the C:\Programs folder) I always thought XP was only Win2K with a re-designed User Interface, Win9X Compatibility and some additional Software that nobody needs. But i killed the installation several times trying to use 2k drivers for XP which is afaik supposed to work. So it´s not exactly the same...

Start -> Programme -> Zubehör -> Systemprogramme -> Systemwiederherstellung.
in english probably: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Programs -> System Recovery. |

You can solve your partition problem with 'Disk Druid' in the RedHat 7.3 installation. It's fairly easy to use (compared to fdisk at least) and it seems to me like it's reliable.
