mandrake 8.1
i got a problem for start the apache server...how to start that services.....i have try it in /etc/rc.d/init.d apache start ,but cannot. anyone can help me..thanks

Here's an actually helpful comment, unlike all the others:

/etc/init.d/httpd command which is aliased to Code:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd command from the default install, where "command" would be "start", "stop", "restart" or what have you. you can also start and stop services from within the Mandrake Control Center, but it's better to learn how to do it from the command line. |
