migrating mysql db

Hi there,

I need to migrate about 10 MySQL databases from one Linux server to another. I have no clue how to go about doing this, as I'm just a lowly web developer.

I believe we're running Redhat Linux 6.2 on both.

Any help would be great. Thanks...

Send a message via AIM to Hero Zzyzzx
search the MySQL forum for "mysqldump", it makes it very easy to reliably transfer tables.

In the future, questions about MySQL are probably better posted in that forum, folks use MySQL on a number of OS's.

Thanks, I wasn't sure where to post since it was a cross-question.
