nfsd questions
Server running nfsd Redhat 7.1
Client OSX.1.3 I seem to have things set up on Redhat correctly but I can't seem to access the share from my client. From the client I type: mount_nfs 192.168.0.1:/directory /directorypath Seems to work since I don't receive an error. But when I try to access the share or do something like: ls directory I get "Operation not permitted" I am guessing its permissions but I do not know how to get the permissions to access the share. you are logged in as root, i guess? nfs does not work for root unless the share is accessible for "nobody" (or you configure it explicitly).
if not, give us some more info about your setup. this is really not much to help you... do you have portmapper running etc? you say, you don´t get an error, is there an error in /var/log/messages maybe?
