ppp,starting / stopping remotely
Hello
I am wanting to provide an easy way for a user to start and stop a ppp connection on a windows machine. Ssh is perhaps a little bit too complex for most users. Is there any sort of magical thing that lets one do this, either via a specifc client/server programs, or php/cgi type stuff? Any ideas? Thanks |

what you want is already implemented in both OSs. for linux: use pppd in server mode, for windows, user "RAS" aka "dial-up networking".
