problem with mp3's in RH8.0

ok so i installed RH 8.0 and mounted my fat32 drives that had my music on it. when i try to play them it dosnt. in xmms i try to add them to the play list but it just dosnt. do anyof you know whats up? or do you need more info and if so, what kind of info

Red Hat 8.0 doesn't come with mp3 support due to license issues on the mp3 standard. You need to install support for it separately from the xmms website I believe.
