Problem with RedHat 8.0 running slow
I just installed RedHat 8.0 with all the default settings and it's running significantly slow. Every time I type stuff, there's a random delay. It I type a sentence, for example, not all keystrokes make it through. I take it there's some sort of delay. I don't know what's wrong. Someone told me that I had to compile the video drivers. I don't know if this is true. Anyone have any solutions? I appreciate any info. Thanks.
My computer is a Gateway 733MHz, 384MB.
