problems of my n00bness with RH 9
every time i log onto my account, not the root account, i immediately get three error boxes.
one says: Failed to load image kfouleggs Details: file not found another says: Failed to load image /usr/local/games/tuxracer-demo/icon.xpm Details: file not found another says: Failed to load image switchdesk.png Details: file not found. Additionally, everytime i log off of this account, i get the error: Application "gnome-panel" process 2924 has crashed due to a fatal error (Segmentation fault) I am running Red Hat Linux 9 on a 900mhz PIII, 128MB Ram, 10 GB HD. The computer is a gateway, and came preinstalled with win 98. I reformatted the HD, and installed redhat 9(no dual boot) Can anyone help me (oh yeah, btw, is there any way to boost performance, like tweaks, and also save my login pass?) Thanks alot, bob |
