pulling vs pushing ( deposite)

pulling vs pushing ( deposite)

I have written cron to do rsync on daily basis while the rsync script varies with the rsync server.
on the other hand, rsync uses pull and I do not which server apply the 'pushing technique- deposite files into a server through authenication'.

do u have any idea?
would u please show me some url for me to read about.
