Quality of SSL

I am not sure if this question belongs here but I'll give it a shot. I am looking to buy an ssl certificate from website servertastic.com. They claim
Quote:
RapidSSL is the ideal certificate for websites conducting low volume transactions or web site administration areas.
What does it mean by low volume transactions? Should I worry about it? Will it slow down access to webpages/data if the ssl is for "low volume transactions?"

It has no impact on performance at all.

The only thing you're paying for when you buy SSL certificates is trust. They're assuming that a higher volume site will want a certificate that instills more confidence in the miniscule percentage of visitors that know what an SSL certificate is.
