Reconstruct reiserfs partition table
Heya.
I got a small problem with one of my harddisks. With fdisk I accientially erased the partition table. The harddisk contained a reiserfs filesystem with just one primary partition. I didn't format it. Is there any way to reconstruct the partition table ? I think reiserfs keeps multiple backups of the masterblock with the partition table on the hd itself. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks! Tom |

recreate the partition table exactly 10000000000000% the same as it was, and nothing will be hurt or try gpart

Ah thanks! The simple way is always the best...didn't think about simply recreating it. Will check it out
