Redhat 7.3 SIOCADDRT
Hi,
I've read rendy's howto, but i still have problems with my speedtouch USB : It keeps telling me : SIOCADDRT : No such device I really would like to make it works ! Please, help me, i'm about to go back to windows Thx |

![]() - you need to be a little more descriptive in what your problem is - you need to tell what you tried and on which step this message appears (exactly what you typed) - who is rendy? - you should post the url of rendyīs howto - you should post the last few kernel messages you got before this one maybe someone could help then...

let me try to answer my own questions to myself.i guess:
- you failed on the "route" command (the only place i saw "SIOCADDRT" before) - the pppd says in /var/log/messages that it could not be started - you are using a 2.2 kernel version (the pppd has 2.4.0 in the name, so i guess it only works with that) - "ifconfig ppp0" says "no such device" cīmon, donīt let me guess everything. there is 100 things you could have done wrong... |

I'm not using the same internet provider and maybe there's a conflict with my Ethernet card... what do u think about it?
Perhaps i didn't lauch all the services needed at the booting... what does mean SIOCADDRT? |
