I wonder whether RedHat Linux 7.2 is still free of charge?
Do I need to purchase license for it? Coz I wanna upgrade my server for 6.2 to 7.2. |

no, you don't need to purchase a license, you can download ISO images that you can burn onto CDs and use that to install from.
All linux distributions I know of allow you to use them for free, and have some sort of download option. |

The base RedHat OS is free. Downloadable .iso images are available, or (better) you can download some boot floppies and install via FTP.
The programs that run on RedHat are either free or for-pay, depending on the program. Support for the RedHat OS is not free. When you buy RedHat, you are paying for support and for the nice package of CD-ROMs that include a lot of programs (some commercial). Some RedHat packages also include hardcopy manuals and books. The actual OS that you use is the same, whether you pay for it or not.
