Refresh rate
I installed Linux RedHat 8.0 on my pc, and I would like to rise the refresh rate of my screen, but can't figure how that's done. When i go to the monitor settings, I see:
Horizontal Sync Range: 30.0-115.0 Vertical Refresh Rate: 50.0-180.0 I'm guessing I am supposed to change this, but I have no idea what typ type there. I just want my screen to refresh at 90Hz. Help please? |

Easy, first you need your monitor manual which will give you precisly the maximum values. Under Windows whatever it says is only the VRefresh Rate the HSync is as important. Assign only static values, works better.
