Reinstalling GRUB Question
I have been running Bootit NG as my boot manager for years with the following configuration without problem-
Disc 0 master
Win XP Pro
Win 2000 Pro
Disc 1 slave
Linux RH 8.0
Recently, I tried to install 2000 Pro to the second hard drive so that I could boot it from there and once I had it working delete the 2000 Pro partition from the first drive and make it an all XP disc. However, after a failed installation to the seond drive I can no longer boot Linux from BootIT. When I try, the word GRUB followed by a blinking cursor line appears and the screen freezes. I can boot from the Redhat floppy with no problem. How do I get to a command line to reinstall GRUB to my second disc so that I can boot from the BootIT NG menu once again? I have an idea what to do but I would appreciate a detailed response before I proceed as I don't wish to endanger my first drive in any way. Many thanks in advance.
