should I choose motherboard with 2 on-board NIC as web server....
if the web server is behind a broadband router with port forwarding and stay inside a office? q2. If some day this web server goes to "co-location-NOC", do u still consider to use "motherboard with TWO on-board NIC " as web server? q3. do u have the well-configurated port forward script with "ipportfw" ? TIA. Laplace. |

q1. no - defeats purpose of having a router in the first place
q2. no - there's simply no need for that as you will have to have router anyway, which means you don't just hook up two boxes thru nics q3. no - sorry ![]()
