Slackware updating script?
Does there exist any form of automated update script/app for slackware?
I'm currently running a partly updated 7.x and want to have all my packages updated to the latest current version. Preferrably this should be a menu mased system, but a commandline update would also work fine. Best regards Are Hoel

I found one myself
I was so stupid
![]() I should have searched through freshmeat before asking here... I found two: slakup.sh and autoslack-1.7 In my opinion, slakup.sh is useless, but autoslack actually did exactly what it was supposed to do Only one problem, it installed fileutils before glibcso and so ls (among others, I guess) stopped working, and I had to install glibcso manually using installpkg. If you use slackware you can get autoslack here Now all I have to do is get apache to work... :/ |
