sockets

hello.
I have created a server runing on port 25 of my linux machine....it listens for connections.

Now, I changed the SMTP settings of netscape mail to be the name of the server....and I want to establish a conn to the server and see what netscape mail sends it....

--since i changed the outgoing mail server name to that of the Linux box, netscape mail makes a successful connection (seen on the out put screen) but whne it tries to send data using the buffered reader, it fails.....please help
