ssh slow to autenticate
I have a slackware 8.1 box with a 2.4.20 kernel, running OpenSSH_3.4p1 on my home LAN
the box was fine until a couple weeks ago, when for some reason it started to be slow on authenticating ssh connections - it can takes 28 seconds to give a login prompt, then another 28 seconds to check the password and login. I wonder if it's attempting a reverse lookup somewhere - and how could I turn this off? It's making CVS a pain in the *** !! thanks christo ![]()
