I have about 1000+ files in different directories named ?????RN.jpg. Is there someting at the command line that I can use to delete the RN (recursively if possible)?

rm *RN.jpg
for deleting all those files in the current directory, info rm and man rm will give you more info on how to delete those files in all the subfolders. |

Just to be clear, do you want to delete the files or rename them?

That's what I was thinking.Disclaimer: Tuxie's thing will DELETE them. If you want to recursively RENAME them so the RN is gone just whip up a quick shell or perl script. |
