unconfigure
i executed ./configure on php-4.2.3 and i want to undo its cuz i forgot to include "\" at the end, the right command is "./configure \". how to undo it so i can do the right command? thanks

Just run ./configure again with the correct options and it will re-create the Make file. You don't have to unconfigure.
Buy and freaking Linux book and you won't need to ask these questions. |

"configure" usually writes the found configuration to ".config.cache". you can delete this. though it is not necessary (see damonbrinkley´s post)
