Unix Security Doc's - if anyone is interested
Hello,
Just posting some pretty good doc's on securing *nix systems... these are done by AUSCERT... I recommend new users to *nix based systems to take a look at these, especially if they want to setup *nix boxes on the net...
It covers most systems: Irix, SunOS, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, BSD/OS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Linux, etc...
Unix Security Checklist v2.0 (Full Version):
http://www.auscert.org.au/Informati...pers/usc20.html
Unix Security Checklist v2.0 (Just The Essentialls):
http://www.auscert.org.au/Informati...essentials.html
If you already know this stuff then , please ignore this post. This is for those who don't.
God Bless
Scott
