Upgrading RPM from 3 . x - 4. x

Hello,

I've managed to completely knacker and uninstall RPM from my Red Hat System.

Can anybody tell me how to build RPM from source?

Cheers

why would u want to use rpm? the source files are much better and allow for more install options...

It makes life a lot easier of your not an expert, plus it enables uninstalls and upgrades much more easily....

They're probably the main reasons...

you can uninstall with source files easily enough, make deinstall or make uninstall. i dont consider myself an expert and find building from source files more hassel free.
