USB ADSL modem trouble (driver)

OK i've spent the last few days securing my linux box with 3 other users on a network. I've just had delivered a USB ADSL BT Voyeger modem but it doesnt support Linux. How much does BT suck.

Ive had a look on the net for a driver and had a look on the BT site, can anyone help or have any suggestions???

Send a message via ICQ to christo Send a message via Yahoo to christo
flog it and get and ethernet one.. depending on your kernel, you might not have USB support anyway.

ethernet is much easier for netconfig etc

you dont need to use BT drivers for the modem try looking on the manufacturers website and see what you can dig up (usualy the bt drivers are slower than the manufacturers)

I have one of these routers conected to my Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem so dont realy encounter compatabilty issues when on my Linux box or Windows it all works the same.

also if you read BT terms and conditions you can not swap the modem to one that "BT" do not support.
