any mac 10.3 users around?!

good mac techies with 10.3 are hard to find....

im in the process of converting from 9.2 to 10.3, and it is causing some confusion and connectivity problems.

i have a new scanner and have installed software according to the directions but the mac still doesn't recognize it. the software is there, and all the right buttons.

but it just won't FIND the scanner. any advice? it is an epson 2450. mac is g4 w/10.3

any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm.. can it recognise it when running in classic mode? (If you didn't know - OSX can run OS9 behind the scenes, and run OS9 programs this way).

Also, have you tried googling for: epsom 2450 drivers?

haven't googled yet, no. and the switcheroo thing is something i'm just now getting used to. i've used the system 10 maybe five days so far. every once in a while, i'll do something and a window pops up to tell me that classic is starting or something.

which driver would i need?

thanks, simon! i went there, and theni just sent an email to epson's scanner support people, too.

i've had this scanner for about 3 months and haven't been able to scan diddlum-doodle yet!

maybe it wont' be much longer.
