Yep, you need to save the file/page with a .html extension

theres only RTF or word for the saving matter. Forbidden You don't have permission to access /~marksampson/ on this server. Apache/1.3.29 Server at mark-sampsons-computer.local Port 80 I also get that when I go to: http://192.168.123.113/~marksampson/ But when I go to: http://192.168.123.113 It just says seeing this in stead of your website? Ok back to the matter with the file ;-) |

For the Apache thing, try repairing your Disk Permissions. Also, you need to switch to Plain Text mode (Command-Shift-T I think), then try saving the file again with the .html extension

O.k I had a big problem but it looks like it's fixed now. Ok so I have my sites folder and in it is index.htm and then a folder called marker227 which has a test document.htm in it. Am I supposed to be seeing a webpage or do I need more?
This is everything I have in the sites folder. Don't assume I know how to add html and stuff. Thank you. |
