Changing the Label of a Partition
I have just successfully dual booted my MacBook with both OSX and Ubuntu. I used Boot Camp to partition the drive, which worked really well; however I was wondering if there was a way to change the label that the startup process sees and calls 'Windows'.
When my MacBook starts up and I hold down alt/option it gives me the choice of 'Mac OSX' or 'Windows'. I would love to switch this to read 'Linux' instead, but I don't want to mess up the partitions. Any Ideas? |

install rEFIt, it will detect that its Linux and show a tux with the Linux under it, plus you don't have to hold down option on boot (it will just run on boot and give you a few seconds to boot the non-default OS, if you don't touch anything it boots the default)
