IBook G4 Going into Sleep Mode every 10 Seconds
My IBook G4 is going into sleep mode every 10 seconds. Is there any way of turning the sleeping mode off. This computer had a little water spilled on it but got all the water off the laptop intime.

By sleep mode, you mean the hard disk does indeed power down? Is it just the display turning off? Does this happen whether you're doing things on it continuously or just when you leave it?

It goes into sleep mode weather your doing something or just leaving the computer by itself. The desktop comes back when you hit a button on the keyboard or move the mouse. It goes into sleep mode every 5-10 seconds.

Have you looked at your System Preferences:
System Preferences > Energy Saver > Sleep
