iBook going dead
Ok i have a recent iBook with Mac OS x Tiger, everything was fine and i was working with it with no error i decided todo a reboot for some odd reason i don't recall. Must of been cuz was uptime of 20 days or more lol. Anyways after i restart the ibook,i get to the login screen and after iput my login/password it stays in that blue screen back ground and doesn't do nothing.
I tried to do what mac said to do, with single user, safe mode and i even reinstall the system files. But with no luck, the thing is i can get on the single user mode and console my way around. But now i need to find a way to back up my data over the network or to burn to a CD, but in single mode i don't have internet connection. and i don't know hwo to burn in Shell. Please help.

why not make a bootable CD for OS X? there's a nifty little program called BootCD out there. basically it lets you put whatever programs you need onto a CD, then it starts up with the basic OS X operating system. i'm pretty sure you'll have internet access.
you won't be able to burn a CD, obviously. but you can backup all your files via a network. the bootCD link: http://www.charlessoft.com/ (scroll down a little until you see BootCD) good luck!
