I have 2 Imac graphite computers, One has OS 9.1 and the other has OSX 10.4 I believe. How do I hook the 2 up to load my OSX onto the Imac that has 9.1? Is it possible?

first you need a 6-pin to 6-pin firewire cable, then just connect the two computers to it, you can then hold "T" and power up one computer, it will then turn into a big firewire drive and will show up on the other computer

now legally you need to own 2 licenses to OSX, i would recommend just booting the OS 9 computer off the OSX 10.4 install CD and go through with a clean install, somewhere along the process (i think at the end when you give it all your info) there is an option to copy everything important off the Mac that is connected over firewire, that should give you an almost identical install (i think, never really used that)

if you "lost" you install CD or something and both computers have the same size drive, then you could get a YDL Linux CD (or any other PPC Linux CD, preferably a live CD, gentoo has one too), boot that, switch to a console, and dd the drive from the OSX computer onto the OS9 one (that would just image the computer over), there are probably some other tools to image a drive, but forgot all of them (diskwarrior maybe?)
